The purpose of the Knowledge Gate privacy statement (the “Privacy Statement”) is to emphasise the fact to you, as a Knowledge Gate client, that we take the administration and security of your personal information extremely seriously. The UK Data Protection Act 2018 governs how we handle your information as a UK-based company. As a result, we take great care to safeguard any information that could be used to specifically identify you, including:

- Email address
- Organisation information (e.g. Name, Address, Telephone number)

Knowledge Gate sells services that may be paid for online or in person through its website. We will need your personal and organisational details to complete the transaction. The same personal and organisational data are required for the free online trial that Knowledge Gate offers.

How long is your information retained?
We retain your information for as long as you are a user and, by default, for the last 12 months until your enrolment is terminated. Although you have the option to request the earlier permanent deletion of your data, it will still be available in backups for three months after that.
Security of Information
To prevent the loss, abuse, and alteration of the information under our control, the Knowledge Gate website and application have several security measures in place. Although no security measure is impenetrable, we think these precautions are in line with best practices given what 2 of 5 Privacy Policy modern technology 2 allows. Email Privacy
Best practices for email marketing are always followed by us. The implementation of permission-based emailing is a crucial component of these best practices. If Knowledge Gate or a partner sends you emails, it will be because you chose to accept them or because they are messages directly about the services you have requested.
Call Privacy
For contractual and training reasons, we record each incoming and outgoing call.
Call recordings are kept for 24 months and are never made available to outside parties.

Request access to your personal data: You have the right to request a copy of the personal data Knowledge Gate has on for you.

Request transfer: You have the option to request that Knowledge Gate send some of the personal data it has on you or another party in an easily transferrable, structured, and widely-used electronic format.
Withdraw consent: If Knowledge Gate has your permission to use your personal information, such as for marketing purposes, you can revoke that permission at any time. You won’t be charged a price to view your personal information (or to exercise any of the other rights). Knowledge Gate may impose a reasonable cost if your request is unjustified, recurrent, or exorbitant. Knowledge Gate makes an effort to answer all valid inquiries within a month. If your request is exceptionally complicated or you have submitted several requests, it could occasionally take Knowledge Gate more than a month. Knowledge Gate will let you know and keep you informed in this situation.
